Terms of Sale & Privacy Policy

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases of artwork, prints, and other products made through erlendo.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. The store is operated by Erlendo Mortensen (ENK, org.nr. 932 349 213), based in Oslo, Norway.

2. Prices & Norwegian Art Tax (BKH)

All prices are listed in Norwegian Krone (NOK). Original artworks are exempt from VAT under Norwegian law. However, original artworks and limited edition prints sold for more than 2,000 NOK are subject to a mandatory 5% Art Tax to the Relief Fund for Visual Artists (BKH). This tax is already included in the final price displayed in the store and will be specified on your receipt.

3. Payment

Payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Stripe. We accept major credit/debit cards and some other payment options. We do not store any of your payment or credit card information on our servers.

4. Shipping & International Customs

Artworks are carefully packed and shipped from our studio in Oslo. We currently ship to Norway and Sweden.

Norway: 180 NOK (Tracked shipping, 2–5 business days)
Pickup in Oslo: Free
International: 500 NOK — shipping costs are calculated at checkout

Customs and Import Duties: For orders shipped outside of Norway, the customer is solely responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or local taxes applied by the destination country.

5. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

We want you to be thrilled with your art. In accordance with European and Norwegian consumer law (angrerettloven), you have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days of receiving it.

To initiate a return, contact us at Erlendmortensen@gmail.com within the 14-day window. The artwork must be returned in its original, undamaged condition and in its original packaging. Please note that the customer is responsible for covering the return shipping costs.

Exceptions: Custom or commissioned artworks made specifically to your instructions are non-refundable.

6. Damaged in Transit

If your artwork arrives damaged, please take clear photos of both the damaged packaging and the artwork itself, and email us immediately at Erlendmortensen@gmail.com so we can resolve the issue.

7. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. When you place an order, we collect your name, email, and shipping address solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

We share your address with our shipping providers (e.g., Posten/Bring) to deliver your package, and your payment details are handled securely by Stripe. We will never sell your personal data to third parties.

Our website uses privacy-first analytics that track general, anonymous website traffic without the use of invasive cookies or personal tracking.

8. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All artworks, images, graphics, and content on erlendo.com are the exclusive property of Erlend Mortensen and are protected by international copyright laws. It is strictly prohibited to download, copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any images or content from this website for personal or commercial purposes without explicit written permission from the artist.
